Project Manager

Augustine Consulting, Inc., a professional services firm providing select services to national defense agencies, seeks a Project Manager to serve as a part of the Company’s Technical Services team in support of Project Manager Tactical Radios. The Project Manager will oversee and manage personnel and all integrated product support tasks to ensure they are meeting all cost, schedule, and performance requirements.      


As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Review program CDRL documents for consistency of schedules, compliance, and financial document requirements; coordinates with affected subordinate PMs on contractor personnel;
  • Participate in IPTs on behalf of contractor;
  • Evaluate and balance anticipated budget expectations; and works closely with COR on program issues;
  • Provide support in preparing briefing packages for presentation to high level leadership as required;
  • Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review tasks plans and deliverable items;
  • Ensure conformance with program tasks, schedules, and costs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business and at least 5 years of experience in management and supervision of substantive US Army Material Fielding and Integrated Product Support; 4 additional years of direct, relevant technical experience or military service may be substituted for education
  • Must be permanent resident of the U.S. or U.S. citizen
  • Have the ability to communicate with executive management to ensure program related issues are addressed.
  • Have the ability to think and act independently in a distributed work situation
  • Must possess a SECRET clearance


Desired Qualifications:

  • DAWIA level II/III certification in acquisition career field, or PMP certification.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated skills in product lifecycle management, project team management, acquisition and contracting plans, project management databases, DODI 5000.02, and the JCIDS process.
  • A thorough understanding of operating a computer, which includes Microsoft Office 365 Suite of applications.
  • Possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
