Senior Acquisitions Management Analyst

Augustine Consulting Inc. (ACI), an established provider of software engineering, technology, system integration, and select services to the Government, has an immediate opening for a Senior Acquisitions Management Analyst for a DoD customer. As a Senior Acquisitions Management Analyst, you will be directly responsible for planning, writing, and analysis of Integrated Product Support (IPS) activities for PM Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) systems. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide senior-level logistics expertise.
  • Integrate and plan for the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSE) in all phases of the sustainment and acquisition processes.
  • Establish and assist in the planning, developing, coordinating, defending and executing all aspects of the PMs’ Life Cycle Logistics support under the processes of DoD acquisition and sustainment.
  • Produce acquisition logistics documentation in support of the PM products.
  • Perform and develop plans and projects, determine needs, investigate and resolve problems, interface with other functions and stakeholders, prepares capital assets and operating requests, and manage functional areas.
  • Assist in logistics automation using enterprise planning tools (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP, etc.) for acquisition and sustainment operations.
  • Direct the activities of a group of applicable stakeholders in order to conduct focused strategic planning and analysis for all life-cycle management functions.
  • Plan, organize and produce supportability plans for programs complete with logistical support analysis in approved DoD formats.
  • Provide logistics analysis, provide inputs for logistics requirements, and update input, and PM PNT acquisition products, processes and documentation.
  • Prepare and provide input into the formulation of short and long-range logistics and product support planning.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Current U.S. Secret clearance and U.S. passport
  • Bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of 8 years of DoD Acquisition experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Integrated Product Support Elements.
  • Must know, understand and be able to create milestone decision documentation in support of the governemets product lifecycle.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills are essential
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in a specialized field plus a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and/or Integrated Product Support (IPS); or, a bachelor's degree in the specialized field plus 8 years of applicable experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and/or Integrated Product Support (IPS).
  • 3+ years’ experience providing Acquisition planning, schedule development, and requirements analysis
  • Familiarity with C4ISR systems and integration
  • DAWIA Level II or higher certification in Lifecycle Logistics track
